About this sink

The Ruvati RVH8666 is a 69-inch stainless steel workstation sink, the longest sink we carry. At almost six feet, it turns a kitchen island into a full working station where two or three people can prep, wash and serve at the same time.

Stacked tracks run the entire length of the bowl on the front and back. Set it up for weeknight cooking with a cutting board, colander and drying rack, then switch it into a buffet for a party: condiments in the three-bowl tray, salad in the mixing bowl, ice and drinks in the open end of the bowl. Because the tracks sit on two levels, accessories slide over and under each other, so nothing has to come out of the sink to make room.

It's made from 16-gauge T-304 (18/10) stainless with a brushed commercial-grade finish that hides everyday scratches. Rubber pads and a sound-dampening undercoat keep it quiet and cut down on condensation. The floor slopes toward the drain, so water and scraps travel the full length of the bowl instead of pooling.

Who it's for

Large kitchens with a long island and a 71-inch sink base, households that cook together, and people who host often. It doubles as a prep sink, a buffet and a drink station, so it suits open-plan kitchens where the island is the center of the room.

Installation and care

  • Confirm you have at least a 71-inch sink base before ordering
  • Plan two faucet holes in the countertop if you want a second faucet
  • A sink this long is best installed by a professional with the included hardware
  • Clean with warm water and mild soap, wiping with the grain; dry to prevent water spots
  • Avoid steel wool and chlorine bleach
  • Keep the bottom grids in place to protect the bowl
  • Oil the wood accessories regularly with food-safe mineral oil

Common questions

What size cabinet does it need?
A 71-inch sink base cabinet at minimum.
Can I install two faucets?
Yes. At 69 inches there's room for two faucets, so two people can work at once.
Can I use it as a party or drink station?
Yes. Fill one end with ice for drinks, set out toppings in the condiment tray and use the boards for serving. Pull the drain cover when you're done and everything drains away.
How is it different from the 57-inch model?
It's 12 inches longer and needs a 71-inch cabinet instead of 60. Pick the 69-inch for a long island where several people work at once.
Can I use a garbage disposal?
Yes. The 3.5-inch drain fits standard disposals.
Is it noisy?
No. Rubber padding and a sound-dampening coating soften the sound of water and dishes.
Why 16 gauge?
Lower gauge means thicker steel. 16-gauge resists dents and is quieter than thinner 18-gauge sinks, which matters on a sink this long.
